REGULATION 10.2.10   NOTICE TO SECURITIES EXCHANGE PROHIBITING TRADING  

10.2.10(1)   [ Application]  

This regulation applies if ASIC gave a notice to a securities exchange under subsection 775(2) of the old Corporations Act before the FSR commencement, prohibiting trading in particular securities.

10.2.10(2)   [ Deemed direction to market licensee]  

On and after the FSR commencement, the notice is taken to be a direction to a market licensee under subsection 794D(2) of the Act.

10.2.10(3)   [ ASIC's obligation to give statement of reasons]  

ASIC is taken to have complied with its obligation under subsection 794D(2) of the Act to give a statement setting out reasons for making the direction.
