1   Name

This instrument is the Bankruptcy and Other Legislation Amendment (Repeal and Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2021.

2   Commencement

 

(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

1. The whole of this instrument

At the same time as the Bankruptcy Regulations 2021 commence.

3   Authority

This instrument is made under the following:

(a) the Bankruptcy Act 1966;

(b) the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009.

4   Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

1   The whole of the instrument

Repeal the instrument.

Part 2   Amendments

National Consumer Credit Protection (FinTech Sandbox Australian Credit Licence Exemption) Regulations 2020

2   Section 5 (paragraph (d) of the definition of eligible credit activity)

Omit "subregulation 6.03(2) of the Bankruptcy Regulations 1996", substitute "subsection 27(1) of the Bankruptcy Regulations 2021".
