Subscriptions

The Legal Database subscription services allow you to see when the database has been updated with new or revised information. You can get the latest updates in one place, as soon as they are published, without having to remember to visit our site every day.

There are two ways of receiving our online news and updates:

  • email subscriptions, and
  • really simple syndication (RSS) news feeds.

Both methods provide you with current information in categories that you select. Examples of the categories you can select from are public rulings & determinations, interpretative decisions, decision impact statements, taxpayer alerts, law administration practice statements and policy papers.

The main difference between the two methods is that RSS news feeds are sent out as soon as the database is updated, whereas email subscriptions are generated only once per day.

1. Email subscriptions
Email subscriptions allow you to receive regular email updates for categories of information that interest you. Email subscriptions are sent out once per day, week or month - it's your choice. This method of subscription is perfect if you wish to receive a complete snapshot of information released within a specified period. The email contains the document title and links to the full document.

2. RSS news feeds
RSS takes the hassle out of staying up-to-date, by showing you the very latest information that you are interested in. RSS news feeds are generated as soon as new information is added, and are a great way to be immediately notified of updated information.

RSS can save you time by bringing to your desktop lists of new information on topics that interest you. When one of the feeds (categories) you subscribe to is updated, you will receive an alert on your desktop. The headlines come with the title and links to the full document.
