REGULATION 10.2.42   REFERENCE TO FINANCIAL SERVICES LICENSEE: SECTION 916D OF THE ACT  

10.2.42(1)   [ Regulated principal prohibited from being authorised representative]  

For section 1444 of the Act, section 916D of the Act is taken to prohibit a regulated principal from being the authorised representative of a financial services licensee if the authorisation would authorise the regulated principal to provide financial services that are within the regulated principal's regulated activities.

10.2.42(2)   [ Limitation]  

Subregulation (1) ceases to apply in relation to the regulated principal at the end of the transition period in relation to the regulated principal.
