Explanatory Memorandum
(Circulated by the authority of the Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, the Hon Mal Brough MP)A parent's child support income is made up of their adjusted taxable income plus, if relevant, certain other amounts (such as net rental property loss) minus a self-support amount and minus, if relevant, a relevant dependent child amount and/or multicase allowance. Combined child support income is the total of the two parent's child support income.
