PART 4-5 - ENFORCEMENT OF INTERSTATE ORDERS IN CERTAIN TERRITORIES  

Division 1 - Interstate restraining orders  

SECTION 303   Registration of interstate restraining orders  

303(1)    
If an * interstate restraining order expressly applies to:


(a) specified property in a * non-governing Territory; or


(b) all property in such a Territory of a specified person; or


(c) all property (other than specified property) in such a Territory of a specified person;

a copy of the order, sealed by the court making the order, may be registered in the Supreme Court of the Territory by:


(d) the person on whose application the order was made; or


(e) an * appropriate officer.

303(2)    
A copy of any amendments made to an * interstate restraining order (before or after registration), sealed by the court making the amendments, may be registered in the same way. The amendments do not, for the purposes of this Act, have effect until they are registered.

303(3)    
Registration of an * interstate restraining order may be refused to the extent that the order would not, on registration, be capable of enforcement in the Territory.

303(4)    
Registration is to be effected in accordance with the rules of the Supreme Court of the Territory.
